I SALONI WORLDWIDE MOSCOW 2015 - "TO MOSCOW MY SISTERS - TO MOSCOW"!!!

Picture above from: http://salonemilano.it/en-us/WORLDWIDE/Press/Press-releases

The latest update about the 11th illustrious edition of the Salone in the Russian capital is full of very promising actions, boosting up bilateral commercial projects from the two sides of the water, the Italian/international manufacturers and the Russian local demand, but also production and new talent. The city where Vkhutemas State Art and Technical school, rose and shone in the beginning of the century has many recreational design activities to offer through and around the event. The 4-day fair will be held at Crocus Expo-2 from from Wednesday 14th to Saturday 17th October 2015. As of the beginning of July, the pre-registration service for operators and the press will go live on the User Area (Area Utenti) section of the isaloniworldwide.com website. We are talking of a huge opportunity to encounter the leading companies of the design sector- again- but in a completely different context, under the challenge of growing foreign markets, oozing by energy.
Furnishings, lighting systems, kitchens, office furniture, furnishing accessories, bathroom furniture, textiles and coverings- some of the goods to offer- but the interesting part is that the show will be further complemented by the Master Classes, providing an opportunity for focus, reflection and discussion on design issues. Organised in collaboration with ICE, the Agency for the international promotion and internalisation of Italian companies, they continue to draw in such major players as Mario Bellini, Mario Cucinella, Michele De Lucchi, Rodolfo Dordoni, Ferruccio Laviani, Fabio Novembre, Paolo Rizzatto and Patricia Urquiola.

For more information, get to the relevant Press release (published by Marva Griffin Wilshire, International Press Director, Curator SaloneSatellite,
email: marva.griffin@salonemilano.it).  Also check the Russian design publications websites, Interior + Design, Russia,(www.interior.ru) and SALON-interior(www.salon.ru). Get ready for some serious design business this October- to Moscow my sisters and brothers- to Moscow!

Warm regards

REVOLUTION-[ARY] DESIGN: A NEW 5-YEAR PLAN, NOW.

VKHUTEMAS State Art and Technical School,1920, Moscow, Russia: a poster image made to celebrate the launch of the 5-year plan.

Construction, space, time, society. There is no better way to celebrate a new revolutionary era in design and the society that surrounds it, with this emblematic poster. Let's hope we will have the opportunity- through duty and over-achievement-to repeat history, now that our world most needs it.

Summer 2015 is here and one becomes eager to select , purchase and/or invest.
The Contemporary Precious Jewellery collectors are starting to get edgy again this time of the year- after the spring major fairs- looking around for "The Item" to coronate their existing archive-and of course peeping on all new, raw talent, just stepped in the CPJ sector.
Here we go with a short list of some classics, but also a get-to-know-more of the younger generation of contemporary designers, who shake the foundations of modern jewellery and goldsmithing. People and a couple of places , by A4D-D4A, in A4D-D4A we trust.
